This arch is located at the bottom of the Grand Canyon at the
junction of Red Canyon and the Colorado River. From East
Rim Drive, turn right at the road to Grand View Point (about
halfway between the East Entrance Station and the Park
Headquarters). Hike the Grandview/Tonto/East Trail to the Red
Canyon confluence. Look SW up the slopes above the
confluence to view the arch. It's a 500 ft. climb and then a half
mile cross-slope scramble to get close to the arch. The rabbit
shape is best-seen at twilight. See Rob's Trip Reports at
http://wildernessvagabond.com/reports.htm and scroll down to
Escalante Escalade and then to Day 6. The arch is located at
UTM 12S 416832N 398009W (WGS 84) at about 3100 ft. elev.
