Thieves Cache Arch

This deluxe arch can be viewed by hiking up Water Canyon about 2 miles from its confluence with the Green River. Look high on the north wall from high on the talus below the Water Canyon pour-off (you may need to scramble up the talus on the south side of the Canyon to get the best view, as in this photo). For someone visiting the Maze District, one can hike down Water Canyon about 6 miles from its upper end. The upper terminus of Water Canyon is just east of Chimney Rock.
