In Arizona, take scenic Rt. 89 south from Flagstaff for about 17 miles to Slide Rock State Park. The arch is visible on the west side of the road about a tenth of a mile south of the parking lot for the Park. There are no turnouts along the road from where the arch is visible; and there is heavy traffic on the road. Use caution in walking along the road to
view the arch. There may be a route to the arch within the Park, but Rob has not investigated this possibility. The arch has a span of 42 ft. UTM coordinates 12 431301E 3866549N (NAD 83/WGS84 datum).
