Little Arch
Drive north from Moab on US 191, cross the bridge over the Colorado River, and a little further on turn left onto the Potash Mine Rd, State Rt. 279. This road is paved all the way to the Mine, and then becomes gravel. The road enters the canyon of the Colorado (the "Portal") and continues following the north bank of the River. A short distance inside the portal, the arch is visible on the top edge of the cliff. The cliff above the road is the southern edge of Poison Spider Mesa. For those interested in exploring, it is possible to get to this arch from the top of the Mesa. A four-wheel-drive trail which climbs to the top of the mesa turns off to the right further down the road near the "Dinosaur Track" sign. From there, You're on your own.
