"Fat Man's Misery Canyon" is a small north-south oriented slot drainage south of
Checkerboard Mesa that feeds into Parunaweap Canyon in Zion National Park. These are
the last two natural bridges in the Canyon. They guard an especially deep, dark, and
cavernous part of the Canyon where a cold swim below the spans is required. Significant
climbing skills including a maximum rappel of 45 feet are required to access the natural
bridges in this Canyon. The exposure time of this photo was almost 10 seconds!
