Horsehead Arch
This unusual and interesting arch is located in the Bitterroot Mountains near Hamilton, Montana. it is composed of granite and has a span of about 60 ft. The photo was cropped from one taken with a long focal length telephoto lens looking southerly from where the footbridge crosses Blodgett Creek in Blodgett Creek Canyon, about 3.1 miles from the trailhead at about 4200 ft. elevation. Dave did not climb it but thought it looked doable, but very rough.

It is located at 46deg.15.910'N, 114Deg.18.580'W (WGS84)
