Peephole Arches

This interesting group of arches is north of Sedona, Arizona. Drive to mile post 385.1 on Rt. 89A, about 11 miles north of Sedona. Park off the road here and hike along the east side of the highway for about 100 yards, looking for the trailhead sign back in the trees. Hike the trail parallel to the highway for several hundred yards. The trail goes right and begins to climb the hill. You pass under a phone line on your way to a low ridge. Turn right and walk along the ridge to the Peep Holes in a low reef of light colored sandstone. Total distance is about 0.6 miles.
