Lonesome Lips Arch
This arch is in the Rattlesnake Canyon area. The span is approximately 30 feet. Start at the "Upper Trailhead". At the next junction, take the right fork (which goes around the loop). At the next junction, go right toward the lower Rattlesnake Canyon trailhead. Follow this trail about one half mile to a gap. If the trail is followed here, it leads east down the gap. Instead of following the trail, go down the gap in the opposite direction. Here, there is only an animal trail to follow. When the trail arrives at the base of the Entrada sandstone, follow the sandstone on the right about 1/3 mile to the arch. UTM coordinates NAD83 N4335895E687278 (Zone 12).
