This arch is located on the southwest corner of Kangaroo Island,
the third largest island in Australia, and about 12 to 18 miles from
Adelaide. The arch is believed to have been formed by the continual
pounding of violent seas against the rocky shores of the
Island. There is nothing but open ocean beween the Island and
Antarctica. For information on
Kangaroo Island, go to www.travelwithachallenge.com /Kangaroo_Island.htm.
