Deep Cove North Sea Arch

This arch is along the coast of Maine at the extreme eastern tip of the state. From Eastport, take Deep Cove Rd. to Shackford Head State Park. Hike the main trail to the junction of Deep Cove trail and Broad Cove Trail. Take Deep Cove trail to the rocky beach and continue walking south. The arch is about ½ mile. This arch must be accessed near low tide. NOTE: The tide differential is 20 feet under normal wind conditions and can be more with an on-shore breeze. Arch span is 5 ft.
