NABSQNO 12S 493923 4195847 Utah MAP
This unnamed arch cataloged as UT-318 is located in Upper Muley Twist Canyon in Capitol Reef National Park. Upper Muley Twist Canyon contains many nice natural arches. From the 4WD parking area, hike up the canyon about 3 miles (about a mile past Saddle Arch) and the arch can be seen high up on the left (west) side of the canyon. Accessing the arch required steep slickrock scrambling up Wingate sandstone, but no technical gear was required. The approximate route up is shown in the photo below. Photos by Paul J. Neiman.
