Photo of a Lifetime
The cover of the July 1997 issue of SPAN featured this prize-winning photo of Comet Hale-Bopp through Owachomo Natural Bridge in Natural Bridges National Monument. The photo was taken by Terry Acomb on March 30, 1997, using a 50 mm lens and Kodak Ektapress 1600 speed film. It was tracked for a two minute exposure and then flashed.
