Detrital Arch
See Nautilus Eyebrow Arch. From Nautilus Eyebrow, drive north on Hwy 93 for about a quarter of a mile. Detrital Arch is visible in a protrusion about a mile to the west.. This arch can be seen in the photo looking through Nautilus Eyebrow, qv. It was dubbed “Detrital” because of the wash near it. “Detrital”refers to particles of rock derived from the mechanical breakdown of preexisting rocks by weathering and erosion.
