Porth Wen is a small bay on the north side of Anglesey Island which lies
just off the northern coast of Wales. See Links for maps showing Wales and
Anglesey Island. This photo shows the remains of a brick factory and also
the arch in the distance. Anglesey Island is linked to the mainland by the
historic Menai Bridge built by Thomas Telford in 1826. It is also mentioned
in Lewis Carroll's "Through the Looking Glass".
