Ephemeral Arch (2)
ephemeral adj. 1. Lasting only one day 2. Short lived, transitory

All you who took the 40 minute walk to see this appropriately- named arch can give yourselves a collective pat on the back. Neither a Rainbow Bridge nor a Corona, it was nevertheless a unique natural formation and a good example of the many other natural arches in the Park It was amazing that such a delicate object could have lasted as long as it did! It fell during the week of May 23, 2010. On a geological time scale, its life would have been much less than one day.
The author can supply the original directions to the arch for those interested.
