It is located on Moose Island, at Ship Point, in Shackford Head State Park, Washington County, Maine. It is about 1.5 miles west of Eastport, the easternmost city in the United States, and may very well be the easternmost natural arch in the country. Ship Point Arch has a span of about 8 feet.
