It is located near the Cabo Rojo lighthouse in Cabo Rojo Municipality, Puerto Rico. Access is via occasional trails from the road that leads up to the lighthouse. It has a span of 8 feet, a width of 2 feet, a thickness of 1 foot, and a height of about 20 feet, depending upon the tide. "El Cirial Rojo" translates into "The Red Candlestick" in English.
