Australia's Rainbow Bridge was discovered in 1998 by Richard D. Fisher in a remote section of the Bungle Bungle Range in Purnululu National Park in northwestern Australia. It has an estimated span of 30 feet and height of 40 feet, and spans a small creek. The area is closed to visitation except by special research permit. Photo (copyright retained) by Richard D. Fisher from his book Earth's Mystical Grand Canyons - Australia, available from www.canyonsworldwide.org.
