NABSQNO 12S-463240-4047275. Hole in Rock is a shelter natural arch eroded through Navajo sandstone. It is located about 25 miles south of Page, in Coconino County, Arizona. Access is via Indian Route 20, which is paved most of the way and graded dirt the last 9 miles. Vreeland listed Hole in Rock as number 12-16 in his catalog and reported a span of 3.5 feet. The cracks in the lintel do not disqualify Hole in Rock as a natural arch, but certainly suggest it will collapse soon.
