NABSQNO 13S-475169-4425839. Royal Arch is an abandoned natural arch eroded through Fountain Formation sandstone. Several natural arches have been named "Royal Arch," three in Arizona alone. This one is a major attraction of Boulder Mountain Park, also known as The Flatirons, southwest of Boulder, Boulder County, Colorado. The arch is accessed by one of the many scenic hiking trails in the park. These trails offer spectacular views of Boulder and even Denver on clear days. Royal Arch is listed in the Vreeland catalog as 18-27. It has a span of about 20 feet.
