NABSQNO 13S-507675-4131190. Twin Peaks Window is an alcove natural arch eroded through a volcanic dike of basalt. It is located on private property about nine miles west of Gulnare in Las Animas County, Colorado. The volcanic dike radiates from West Spanish Peak, although the arch is almost due south of East Spanish Peak. The arch is visible from Road 46.0, a graded gravel road that is 2WD accessible in good weather. However, courteous requests of the landowner, the Twin Peaks Ranch, for a closer look are usually granted. This closer view reveals the true nature and size of the arch which is not apparent from the road. Twin Peaks Window has a span of about 12 feet.
