It is located about 5 miles south of Cripple Creek in Teller County, Colorado. Access is via the high-clearance, dirt Shelf Road. Vreeland included this arch in his catalog as number 18-6 and reported a span of 15 feet for the larger opening. The smaller, secondary opening is not visible in the photo above, which is taken looking north. The secondary opening is visible when looking south at the arch from the other side of the fin.
