NABSQNO 12S-587920-4164080 (fallen). The Fallen Monarch was a meander natural bridge eroded through Cedar Mesa Sandstone by White Canyon Creek. What remains is located a short distance upstream from Sipapu Natural Bridge in Natural Bridges National Monument, San Juan County, Utah. The link below to an interpretive map shows the relationship of Fallen Monarch to Sipapu Natural Bridge. Although it is not possible to know exactly what the size of this giant was before it fell, a careful study of the remnants indicates it had a span somewhere between 330 and 360 feet. This is much longer than any natural arch currently documented.
