Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park, Utah

NABSQNO 12S-599258-4249484. Mesa Arch is an adult alcove natural arch eroded through Navajo sandstone. It is located at the midway point of a short loop trail from the Island in the Sky road in Canyonlands National Park. The carpark is well marked and is shown on park maps. The view down into the Colorado River gorge from the arch is spectacular. It has a span of 90 feet and a divergence of just under 7 feet.
