ALG-97, Tit-n-Achchel Arch, Sefar High Maze Area. 2.4 meter span
by 1.1 meter height (measured). Form the two spires in the oued (wash)
described with ALG-99, leave the wash and go
north. Walk across slickrock and along the reef side to find an access
to the maze using a narrow passage with a small shrub inside. Walk through
the narrow passage and turn left. Walk for about 250 meters northwest
into the maze to the arch, which is located near a rock tower. Tit-n-Achchel
means "snake eye" in the Tamahaq language. |
