NABSQNO 12S-610487-4213778. Castle Arch is an arc natural arch eroded in Cedar Mesa sandstone. It has a span to breadth ratio of about 15. It is located in Horse Canyon in the Needles section of Canyonlands National Park, Utah. Access to the arches in this area has been complicated by new rules established by the park to protect riparian ecosystems. Check with the visitor center for current access requirements.
