Juanita Arch is an adult meander natural bridge cut by Maverick Canyon through a meander of Wingate sandstone about 2 miles upstream of its juncture with the Dolores River in Mesa County, Colorado. Although the opening seems small in comparison with the extent of the wall of rock it penetrates, Juanita Arch must be considered an adult because the abutments have retreated significantly from the streambed that runs between them. The result is a very respectable span of 100 plus feet.
