Example Pothole Natural Arch

NABSQNO 12S-573366-4082815. Honeymoon Arch is an adult pothole natural arch eroded through DeChelly sandstone. Since the span is commensurate with the width of the pothole behind the arch, it is considered an adult.

Honeymoon Arch is one of several attractions found in Monument Valley, a Navajo Nation Tribal Park. Visitors must employ a guide to access this arch. Tours are readily arranged at the park's visitor center. Note that Honeymoon Arch is not shown on the USGS Mystery Valley (AZ,UT) Topo Map. Nearby Stout Arch, NABSQNO 12S-573484-4082850, is shown on this map as "Natural Arch". At one point the NABS catalog listed Honeymoon arch with the NABSQNO for Stout Arch. This has been corrected here.
