Example Waterfall Natural Bridge

NABSQNO 12S-644551-3987068. Three Turkey Natural Bridge is an adult waterfall natural bridge cut in sandstone by Three Turkey Wash. It is located roughly 15 miles southeast of Chinle, Arizona. It is an excellent example of an adult waterfall natural bridge since the waterfall that created it has retreated upstream but remains in linear sight.

Three Turkey Natural Bridge has a span of 50 feet, a height of 22 feet, a width of 18 feet, and a thickness of 2 feet. Because it is on the Navajo Nation, non-Navajos must acquire the services of a guide to visit the natural arch. It is reached after a 1.5 mile hike down Three Turkey Wash from a road crossing 2.5 miles from Navajo Route 7, and about 7.5 miles from where pavement ends on South Rim Drive in Canyon De Chelly National Monument.
