Natural Bridge of Virginia

The Natural Bridge of Virginia has a span of 90 feet and a height of 175 feet. It is made of limestone, and was formed by an underground stream originally flowing through a cave. The rest of the roof of the cave collapsed, leaving only the arch remaining. It is on private land (once owned by Thomas Jefferson) and there is an admission charge.
